วิธีตรวจสอบเวอร์ชันของ Bluetooth ใน Microsoft Windows นั้นทำได้โดยเราจะต้องรู้เวอร์ชัน LMP ก่อน โดยสามารถตรวจสอบเวอร์ชัน LMP ใน Device Manager ซึ่งมีขั้นตอนดังนี้
1.ไปที่กล่องค้นหาบน Taskbar, พิมพ์ "Device manager"
2. เข้าไปที่ Device Manager เลือก Bluetooth
3. ดับเบิ็ลคลิกที่ Wireless Bluetooth และเลือกแท็บ Advanced แล้วดูที่ Firmware หรือ Firmware version, ตัวเลขที่แสดง LMP (Link Manager Protocol) ซึ่งจะเป็นบอกเวอร์ชั่นของ Bluetooth
4. เมื่อได้เลข LMP Version แล้ว นำเวอร์ชั่นที่ได้มาเปรียบเทียบกับตารางด้านล่างนี้ ยกตัวอย่าง เช่น LMP Version 12.9222 (12.x) นำมาเปรียบเทียบตามตารางจะได้ Bluetooth เวอร์ชัน 5.3 นั้นหมายถึงว่าอุปกรณ์ Bluetooth ของคุณรองรับ Bluetooth 5.3
