To checking the Bluetooth version in Microsoft Windows. We need to know the LMP version first.
You can check the LMP version in Device Manager, which has the following steps:
1. Go to the search box on the Taskbar then type "Device manager"
2. Access "Device Manager" and select Bluetooth name on your list.
3. Double click on Wireless Bluetooth and Select the Advanced tab and look at Firmware or Firmware version, the number of LMP (Link Manager Protocol) which will indicate the Bluetooth version.
4. When you get the LMP Version number, After that compare the version with the table below,
for example LMP Version 12.9222 (12.x) compared to the table will get Bluetooth version 5.3. it mean your device support Bluetooth 5.3
