If your Acton II Bluetooth cannot connect or pair with a Bluetooth device, there are several likely causes and troubleshooting options you can attempt:
1. Bluetooth is not enabled on your device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
Activate Bluetooth on your device
2. There are already two devices connected to the speaker.
Disconnect one of the connected Bluetooth devices before connecting to the speaker
3. The speaker is not in pairing mode.
Push and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds to make the speaker discoverable by the device.
4. Check if your speaker is connected to another audio device. If so, disconnect and pair it again.
5. Turn the speaker off, wait for a full 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
6. Push the source button on the speaker to toggle between Bluetooth and AUX input and select Bluetooth mode. A lit indicator shows which source is selected.
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. This will return the speaker to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.
Note: Acton II Bluetooth can be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Playing a connected Bluetooth device will make it the selected audio source, pausing any previously played audio on the second device.
